Sometimes its big rocks in the bottom of a shallow river I've risked crossing. Other times it could be debris hidden in the mud that no one would see short of wading in to make sure.
A plastic skid plate just isn't going to hold up forever when it's punished like that. Maybe it won't even hold up for a little while in those conditions. Do you find yourself worrying about what might hit the underside of your ATV when you're putting through its paces and seeing what it's got?
