Polaris RZR Winch

I really wouldn't want to own an ATV without a winch. It is one of the most useful and versatile attachments that you could invest in with your hard-earned money. I've used mine to pull logs that I've just cut, to pull myself out of holes I should have been smarter than to go in. I even use the winch to make sure my fence wire is tight enough before I nail it to the fence posts. During big buck season, it sure is easier to let your ATV do all the work with its winch instead of having to pull that deer all the way up for skinning by yourself. I haven't used it to pull a regular road vehicle, but I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try. You could probably come up with dozens of other uses.

With a powerful 1.2 horsepower rating, the permanent magnet motor of the Polaris RZR winch is a real workhorse. This winch also features a planetary gear drive with dynamic breaking. This greatly reduces the chance of free spooling. I don't know about you, but that sounds like a great option to me. It isn't any fun trying to untangle yards and yards of heavy duty metal cabling once it's become tangled and kinked. It is especially painful if you're in the middle of an important recovery job in extreme heat or cold conditions.
