Polaris RZR Skid Plates

Most Polaris Ranger ATV's come from the factory with a plastic skid plate. I guess that's alright if your ATV is just used by your younger kids to drive around the yard or through the pasture or even down some cleared trails.

If you are like me, that is not what you're usually doing on your ATV. I like to go where no man's been before so to speak. That means through the woods and through the water. I find myself winding through trees where no path has been cut and hoping I fit. Sometimes it even means cutting a few trees when I get myself in a tight spot.

Needless to say, sometimes I drag my bottom on things I never even noticed were there. It might be some old stump or a fallen tree. Sometimes its big rocks in the bottom of a shallow river I've risked crossing. Other times it could be debris hidden in the mud that no one would see short of wading in to make sure.

A plastic skid plate just isn't going to hold up forever when it's punished like that. Maybe it won't even hold up for a little while in those conditions. Do you find yourself worrying about what might hit the underside of your ATV when you're putting through its paces and seeing what it's got?

Polaris Ranger Skid Plate replacements are my answer to a problem waiting to happen. I've replaced the plastic that came from the factory with high quality aftermarket replacements made of 3/16 inch thick aircraft grade aluminum made right here in the USA.

If you need a more economical Polaris RZR Skid Plate, there are also plastic skid plate replacements that match or exceed the factory part. No matter what you choose, it's important to protect your ATV investment. Those things are far from cheap to replace. Don't forget it's much easier and cheaper to prevent a problem from happening that to fix it later.

All Polaris RZR 4 Skid Plate replacement options are easy to install and come with clearly written instructions. All hardware is provided. You just unbolt the old one and bolt on the new. Within a short time, your ATV is ready to perform again. With just a little bit of money and a little bit of time, you can make sure the underside of your ATV has a lot of added protection.
